I need advice on acting ? ... 10 points !?

Question:am 13 going on 14 .
a girl .
i live in Florida ... Southern part .
and i love acting ... very good at it .
i was wondering how i could become an acress without being from Hollywood like evryone is .
is there any auditions in Florida ?
and can you just give me some tips on how i become an actress ?

i act at school .
and im in thespians .
i always get the best .
BUT i dont do plays out of school cause i dance after school .
but i really want to go big in acting !!

First of all,get involved with as many acting courses or clubs as possible, in the holidays or whenever you have regular free time. It broadens the mind and lots of different teachers try different techniques, and some might really work for you, even better than current ones.

Ask around for any auditions and search on the internet,always keep an eye out for them. Even if you don't think you would get the part, try anyway, you never know and it can't do any harm. And it gives you an idea what to expect when you audition for things.

Try to build up some contacts maybe?

Have you tried contacting Universal Studios, Disney, or the like?

A lot of times you have to go through an agent. I'd look up Talent Agencies in the area, they may be able to put you in touch with the right people.

Ask your teacher if she knows if she knows some people who she could set you up with. Also, take part in all of the school's plays, you must take a leadership role within this, come up with new ideas for the storyline and most of all enjoy it.

Also, if you are the best at acting in your school, AND you are serious about a career, think about taking time of your dance and look for auditions and take part in everything available.

After you finish the play, tell someone you know to pretent they don't know you and ask for an autograph, this will make those less comfortable ask you for one.

If you are under 18, the only way you are ever going to do anything is for your parents to get involved getting you experience, training and eventually an agent. You can't sign a contract as a minor.
