I want to act for film and television but don't want to go to Uni???

Question:so i love acting, i normally play the ditzy one but i think id be good at a tough nut chic. so i really want to act for film or televison ...i come from a country town but once i finish me HSC i plan to move to the city... i know this ques.gets asked every 5 mins but i would like to know how i can get anagent or someone i can contact to act on shows such as home n away, neighbours and so on....so please pretty please help me....

If you really love acting, then you should be willing to do what is necessary to become a really good actor. If you don't have that commitment, you won't go very far.

Acting classes, studying the industry, learn some business skills and try to gain some experience in the meantime.

Here is a page on my site for new and aspiring actors on which you will find 17 different things you could do to get started in your acting career, BUT you might want to think about taking classes and trying to be a good actor, while you are doing some of those things. Some of them will require that you have some experience. At any rate, even if you are in a small town, some of them should work.
