Compare and contrast the inciting incident in the West side story and Romeo and

Question:I have to write a 5 paragraph essay comparing the inciting incided between the two stories. I know that it is the part where the two couples meet but i dont know the main points of similarity/differences i should touch upon. thanks for your help! =)

You could look at how Romeo and Juliet first notice each other versus Tony and Maria, or look at their first conversation with each other. Why do R and J have more dialog than Tony and Maria? How to they each react to each other? What do they say that makes their connection so instant? With Romeo and Juliet the scene is a little more fast paced while Tony and Maria's meeting is slower and more intense. How does it work for each piece?
