Auditioning for a musical...what song should i sing?

Question:in about a 6 weeks I'm gonna audition for a musical. But i've never done that before so i have no clue what song to sing! please help me! We have to sing like 16 bars of the song and i can't sing really high...but i don't have a low voice...lol. please please give me some ideas! thank you in advance! =]
