Almost Famous Mag.??

Question:I auditioned for Almost Famous Magazine. It's a magazine that goes out to tons of agencies and casting direstor. I was accepted and they want me to do it- but it cost 700$ just to have your face put in the magazine with a tiny bit of info on you. If you are in it there is a chance to make the cover of the whole magazine which does not cost any extra. They also want you to put your vid of you doing a monolouge on there website for another 700$. I know there have been alot of sucess stories but I don't know how often that occurs. Would it be worth the money to do it? If yes then should I do both the vid. and pic. or just the pic. or just the vid.? Please tell me in the source box wether or not you really know anything about it besides what I have told you or if you are just guessing. Thanx!!! Well, I've heard of it before... and my opinion is $700 is quite a lot of money to just put your face in a mag and ect. I think you should try for plays, then work your way up. At least, that's what I'm doing (or trying to do : P). Hmm... my advice to you is just to do what you think is right.

Sounds like a scam to me. You shouldn't have to pay $700.00. just to get a little bit of info about you in a magazine.
