Without knowing your general geographical location... you can try checking actorsaccess.com and backstage.com but those are not generally "open" auditions. The theatre auditions are but does your daughter have any training? For the others, you submit your headshot and resume and wait to see if they're interested in seeing you. If you're not in an area where there's a lot on these sites for you, do a wensearch for the word "film" and your state name then search the sites that come up thoroughly. They should be that of your state's film associations, societies, etc/ They will have some info about projects filming in your state, maybe casting and info on classes.

Really she should be in classes and getting experience through theatre and student films first to build a resume. Student films can be done through your local colleges. Call any that have a film department and ask how their students cast their projects and get in on that. Take some decent snapshots of her that you can use as started headshots. Look at examples online of actor headshots. Look at the websites for some of these photographers to get an idea http://www.workingactors.com/cgi-bin/pag...

Remember that you should NEVER pay to audition under any circumstances and you NEVER use a company that has classes, photography and an agency or management service all in one because that's not right and those places are a big ripoff. If however you do extra work that usually involves paying a registration fee to the company that hires you and that is normal (at least in LA).

good luck,
Marianne

Uhhh..where do you live??

You need an agent.
First of all, we don't know where you live so we can't really help you too much.

Anyways, start having your daughter in acting classes and auditioning for plays and stuff like that. She'll need lot's of experience before an agent would be interested in her.

If you don't want an agent, you won't get really far. but you can check the newspapers and online for any open casting calls in your area. Also if she has facebook, theres some open casting call groups there that advertise auditions.

Good Luck!
