Question:I'm doing a pantomime for a competition and I need background music that fits in with the pantomime. I've been racking my brains and I cannot figure out what song goes well with this pantomime:

A young lady is lying in bed. The alarm rings. She reaches out and whacks the clock. She drags herself out ofbed very slowly and stumbles to the bathroom, where she washes her face and fumbles blindly for the towel. She comes back into the bedroom to her dressing table. She drops the bottle of makeup. She catches it right before it crashes to the floor and applies it. She isn't happy with how it looks. She goes for blush but the container is empty. She scrubs hard and gets a minimal amount which she applies. She tries mascara but it goes in her eye. She tries lipstic, but as she is putting it on she sneezes and it goes right up the side of her face. She just gives up and wipes her face off. She heads to bed, shoves the clock under pillow and back to sleep

suggestions for music?

My first thought was "Powerhouse." This isn't the whole tune, but you'll get the idea; it has a few movements:

If you like that style, you might look into some Carl Stalling tunes:
