What is the musical "Spring Awakening" about?

Its about young teens coming into their teen years- the experiences of sexuality and such as they discover themselves, and the opposite sex. Its an adaptation of a play that caused just as much outrage back in the early 1900s, and was even often banned.
If you want to read the full story, the best thing would be to go out to your local bookstore and buy or order the original play. The musical leaves out a lot of good plot in order to make room for the music.
