Where can i find acting auditions?

Question:ok,i live in Dallas Texas and i was wondering where i can go to get free acting audition info on commercials,T.V. episodes,and films. i have been using explore talent and its not working. someone please help??!!

Have you any acting experience? As its no use trying to get an agent without it. They won't take you on.If this is the case take some acting classes or join a group. Take singing and dancing classes if you think that would help.
If you do have experience, try looking through the yellow pages. (or whatever the equivalent is in the USA) They shouldn't want money from you, they will only take part of your cut when they find you a job.They will only ask for a small poloroid picture of you, at that stage, and its not worth getting head shots doe at that point really anyway unless you find it is necessary.
And lastly, always have a back up plan. It's a dog eat dog business and not everyone will make it.

Do me a favor and dont use any online things like explore talent, they are total scams. If you want it right now, get an agent, they are free then when they get you jobs they take a small percentage of what you get paid, if you ask me that is the best way to go. While you wait....get into some local/community plays to help build up your resume. Be careful. Hope it all works out for ya.
