Ok, so I am a Broadway fanatic and I'm going to give you tons of recommendations. FIrst off, yes, WIcked is really goo (I especially love the music). If you live in a big city (and going out of town is a problem) it might be coming to your city soon, I know its traveling. If you want a funny, lighthearted musical with great music and fun for EVERYONE try Legally Blonde. A really fun (and REALL REALLY inappropriate) one is Avenue Q (music is amazing, so clever...but lets just say the 'Sesame Street' crowd won't be seeing it any time soon). If you have a younger brother or sister (they would probably like Wicked too, my six year old sister did) Lion King is also great. Now, my personal favorite....RENT! It is closing on Broadway this June (completely different discussion...can you say 'apocalypse?!?!') and it is AMAZING. Very bohemian, very touching, and the most amazing musical ever. There are the occasional curse words and one scene in the second act is pretty inappropriate, but (aside from the references in "La Vie Boheme") it's pretty good for anyone. Hope this helped...don't miss out on BROADWAY!

oh my goodness!!
yes it was amazing!!

Oh yes! I flew to NY (from tx) and it was definatly worth it, amazing!!

Well, most people say it's AMAZING. I wouldn't go that far, but it's a very good show. You kind of have to be in the mood for it, though....it's a little hard to explain. But if you like Disney musicals and pop musicals, then I'm sure you'll love it. {I'm just obsessed with Sondheim...quite different, lol}

YES! Amazing musical! My FAVORITE!!!!!!!!! And the actors are so talented!

yes! best show I have ever seen!

If you have the chance to see it, GO. I haven't seen it live, but I sat in front of my computer watching it in grainy-vision and crappy audio for 2.5 hours and I still loved it. ^^

Wicked is wonderful.

At this time, Elphaba, the green, is being played by Stephanie J. Block, and Kerry Ellis of the London cast will take over some time in june.
G(a)linda,the blonde, is being played by Annaleigh Ashford and Kendra Kassebaum will replace her around the same time that Kerry will replace SJB.
