Question:I am looking for a Acting Agent I can trust and rely on. I have seen many and sometimes I can tell right off they are not right. Any tips Or Recomends?

The main thing that not many people know about agents is that you should NEVER have to pay them money upfront.

If any of these agents are asking you pay them before they get you work, then it's a scam. Real agents only make money by taking a percentage (10-15%) of what you make booking a role.

Also, if they INSIST you take classes with a certain techer or school, or INSIST you have headshots redone with their photographer, it's a scam.

Real agents may recommend you take classes or get new headshots, and they'll steer you toward people they trust, but anytime they require you use their people, it's because they're getting kick backs. They're not real agents. They're just drumming up business for their friends.

They are all liars and wants ur $$$$ impossible, all of them, u can trust nobody in this world.crazy x.x

FIrst off, if you have to ask this question, you're not ready for an agent. An agent does not give you a career, an agent helps guide a career.
Also, if you're not in New York or LA, don't worry about it. Smaller markets don't have a need for talent agencies, typically there will just be casting agencies. No need for a middle man.
