Centre Stage (CS) = Middle of the stage.
Up Stage (U/S) = at the back - furthest away from the audience.
Down stage (DS) = at the front - closest to the audience.
Down Stage Left/Right (DSL/DSR) = at the front of the stage to the left or right of centre - this is from the actor's point of view, not the audiences!

There are alternative names:
Prompt Side (PS) which is Stage Left
and Opposite Prompt (OP) which is Stage Right.
Bastard Prompt which is where the prompter (or Deputy Stage Manager in the UK) sits Stage Right instead of Stage Left.
