Question:I went on their website and they have an audition near me. Is it worth it to go to? do they focus more on modeling or acting? are they a scam? I really love acting and have experience. I want to go to an audition for them but im not sure if it is worth it. Also what type of questions do they ask and what do they make you do like read a couple of lines? thanks for any help!

i have been to proscout and i didn't think it was worth it and they focus more on modeling (if your going there for acting then i wouldn't do it) but if you go to the audition near you then they will talk to everybody as a group for about 30 minutes then they have everyone come up and talk to you personal and you dont have to bring anything or read anything(you do have to fill something out when you get there though) and they just ask you your name and your experience( i actually told them i had no experience and they still took me) and about the entertainment industry (there trying to see if you have what it takes to make it in the industry) then if they think you have potential then they will give you something(they gave me a simple playing card) then you sit back down and wait for everyone else to go through then they talk to everyone as a group again (only for the people that made it though) they go more deeply into the actual trip and it cost 795 and 65 per guest you bring and adding food, hotel, and gas money then its around 1000. i have also asked this same question and someone answered that went on the trip with proscout i think you should read that and if you have any questions still feel free to email me. hope i helped.

Proscout steals auditions notices from other places and puts them on their site and then charges a fee for you to see them. They are not worth the money.

It's as SCAM. You should NEVER have to pay for anything when it comes to getting an agent. If an agent tells you to take special classes from them or a website asks for a credit card number, that is a red flag that it is a scam. A legit agency would instead get you jobs and when you get paid, take a percentage of your check.

I don't think they are worth it. You have to be very very good and very very photogenic and very very rich to participate. And who makes money on the deal? Proscout.
