Hey remember you're an actor! Put yourself in confident, outgoing character mode and just remember you have something in common with Every Single Person there! When in doubt, talk about your classes, your favorite plays, your ideal roles. And don't forget the most important thing about hanging out with an actor- they LOVE to talk about themselves! Break a Leg!

Its a specialized school full of people like you. How does this anxiety even promote itself?

it would help to know the name of the school. If it is Powers,you are being SCAMMED. If it is truely a 'prestigeous' school, then you are as good as the rest of them, so what's the problem>?

Going to acting schools can be a bit intimidating at first. Your second class should be a blast. And no Powers is not a scam. I joined them and I'm learning allot while being in the program. JRP chooses the people they know are going to make it and gives them a chance to enroll in their academy. And you do have to pay a fee because it's an academy. The fee is so schools can pay the professional teachers, talent agents who will be scouting for new faces to fly and see you perform, and your books. If you do join you will be going out for auditions 2-3 times a month.

Don't fell bad if your rejected during a casting call. Just keep on trying.
