Question:Im performing a group scene from midsummer nights dream (Act 3 Scene 2) thats about 10 minutes... and need a duet scene as well..... i would prefer a humorous male/female scene.... maybe a married couple? And for a monologue i need something that will make everyone die of laughter... something like the tinkerbell is dead one but like 10x funnier.... Im also singing "shy" from the musical once upon a mattress.... I am 18 years old and my guy friend is aswell... I may also choose to perform my duet with a female 15 year old... obviously ill need a different scene than an old married couple lol.... I really appreciate it!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! WILL GIVE 10 POINTS!!!!

An old married couple is a real stretch for a couple of 18 year olds - and probably not something you want to work up for an audition piece as you have so much working against you.

As for funny, take a look at "You Can't Take It With You" by Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman. Lots of old-skool phunny in there including some great scenes between Kolenkhov (the ballet teacher) and Essie Sycamore Carmichael. Funny, classic, innocent, sweet, non-controversial and not likely to be something the casting people see every day.
