Position:Home>Theater & Acting> Here is a recording, does this accent sound authentic...?

Question:I am from Arizona, U.S. I have been working on a London, England accent for a few years now. Yesterday I posted a recording of what my accent sounded like, and with your tips, I improved on it. Now here is the accent as I have improved it. If you have any tips on how to improve on it more, please tell me! Cheers!

sounds pretty london to me, but not australian. i should know - born and bred, so don't worry about that.

seemed pretty natural and i would have bought it.

It feels like there's a hint of Australian, but it sounds pretty good.

WOW! Sounds pretty legit to this Yank's ears! Very impressed. One of the hardest things about learning any accent is the "rhythm" of it. Almost like music in a sense. You seem to have the rhythm down beautifully, which makes it all the more realistic.
