Any advice to get into the acting business?

Question:I am a 13 year old girl, light brown hair blue eyes, perfect age for the disney and nickloadian shows. I love acting, i can also sing. I have my moms support, but how would i find out about auditions? For anything, singing, acting with t.v., feature films, commercials, anything.

anybody could be acting but it depends on what you want and be specific. . for example - you might be happiest just doing local plays and not being paid for it. many people do this and love it. it builds confidence and you meet plenty of great people.

on the other hand, (and it sounds like it) do you want to be a star? and if so what type? movies? tv? theatre?

if thats the case you may be in for a long hard road. training is the key and accepting offers to start that may be less than ideal. you can gain experience and knowledge of the ins and outs of the industry plus solidify your intenions within the industry.

many famous actors start in theatre and work hard for many years to be 'overnight' successes.

U might need 2 learn how 2 play an instrument. that helps alot. i am learning how to play the giutar & the piano. if u get a gig @ a club or restraunt people pay u. also, audition for plays @ ur school. search the web 4 auditions 4 movies and t.v. shows that iz what i do.
