There is *much* more to life than just acting. I have been in the theatre industry in New York for 25 years, and it is just a *part* of my life, not my whole life. A good many of the prominent actors on Broadway and otherwise don't even live in New York City - they bought houses and property they can enjoy outside the city.

I surmise you're kind of young, and have not discovered the pleasures of owning property, having old friends, and enjoying the things your city has to offer. As wonderful as it can be, acting is not a lifestyle. It's a job.

Yep, also knowledge from the experience of those that lived before us. Or we'll be mindless tools without even realising it.
