I'm gonna answer your question but first you have to understand, THERE
ARE SCAMS OUT THERE! Most people would tell me I'm being too cautious
but I got to where I am and might not have if I had fallen for a scam (
Luckly I was born into show biz so my parents figured it was a scam )!
BUT a great way to start is to get an agent. They'll tell you the
honest truth if your good or not and if you are they'll help you through it.
They can sometimes get hollywood directors and casting directors out
to your local area to check you out, whether you want to act, model,
dance, or sing. But can I tell you something? People are always saying to
me I REALLY wanna get into Disney but its not that easy. Not being able
to celebrate you or a friends or a family members birthday or even see
them, not being able to do something without being recognized, and
once your an actress forget it, you can't do your sports, activities, or
become anything else. And if you drop out you'll be known as the
girl who couldnt take it or someone like Lindsey Lohan or Jamie Lynn
Spears. But if your willing to take the risks for your passion for
acting its REALLY rewarding, but always stressful! I'll be happy to answer
any more questions you have so contact me soon!

FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS!!!

Study hard and go to classes. And after some experience, get a real agency, not Ford or Generations. An "Actor/Model" is different that an Actor, and generally in the New York theatre community, Actor/Models are looked down upon - considered only good for catalogues and soap operas. If you want to do professional stage work or serious acting, you need training. People go to school for four years to learn to act, and some take extra classes much of their career.

Have fun and work hard!

good luck if you think you will make it then you will never know you could make it!!!

Hello,

Well one, remember there are scams out there, and how you can tell is...
1.They will ask you to pay. Dont its illegal and wrong.
2. They will promise you everything and you will get nothing.

Now some helpful tips are, just start acting classes.
Agents really look for kids who've had training because they don't have to teach them alot.
Also by being with an acting coach, they canhelp you get agents and managers.

Now once you get an agent or manager, they canhelp you really start auditioning and getting out there.
They will help you get your material together and everything.

Now this is a very cut throat business, and so many people come into this business and want it so bad, but they never get it.

You have to be the one to want it and to get it.

Now remember, just because you want to be on Disney or Nick, it won't happen.

I was very lucky to get on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, and since then, its been great!

It doesn't happen over night, so just remember to stay confident and to keep working hard.

Some mistakes I've made is by sometimes thinking you are way to good, for everyone else. Because once you get that way, and think you don;t have to work. Someone is going to some and take that role from you.

Now if Ford doesn't want you, just stay strong, and take some of these tips and keep going strong!

Good luck!

don't get let down by people who tell you your just being big headed

you have a dream, you go and realise that dream girl!!

GOOD LUCK!

remember me when u get famous =)

I love to act too.
You got to try to be a triple threat (Acting ,Singing,Dancing,)
First, you need to take acting classes, and dance classes and vocal lessons (if not already taken)
Next, you have to find an agent before you go ANYWHERE. Like 'The Performer' (above me) said people will try to scam you (from experience) if they ask for ANY money (even a cent) its a scam.
The easiest way to get noticed is to move to NYC or LA. DON'T try to be on the tabloids like Britney Spears because that will break your chances of ever being in front of the film.
Act in community theatres. if your instructors think you're good enough he/she will suggest an agency. if you're gutsy enough you could ask them
Read Backstage, Dramalogue, Variety etc. for any kind of auditions
Take some other answers too and apply them to what you learned Good Luck! :) cant wait to see you on the big screen!

Hi Kaylee,
I am Olivia and I am an actress. Acting is hard and you really seem to want to do it. Please don't over work yourself. I really hope you get into that modeling company. Please get an agent. It will help. I promise.
