Starting in acting?

Question:i love acting and i want to be an actress like in tv shows, movies, or commercials. how do i ge started so that i can be in a movie eventually? i would love to be on disney channel or nick too. any help is appreciated.

Ohmigosh, I can't tell you how many people say this. ( You may have seen me on TV but I can't reveal my ID ) Being on Disney isn't easy! Never seeing your friends, never doing normal stuff, having to have a tutor, getting ready taking two hours!! And if you want it for the fame, stop right now. I do it for the passion and TRUE love of acting like many of my friends! But a good way to start is go to an agent that will either tell you your good or bad and they'll be honest unlike many frienda and family who will lie to make you happy. If they say your good they'll help you through it. Just don't let it go to your head, I know alot of girls and guys who that happens to and only their fans like them. Well, I'll give you the answer that I give to everyone. Here goes:

1. Get talented.
2. Get pretty. (Is as important, if not more than, the first step.)
3. Get an agent. (Fame is almost impossible without one.)

If you can't get an agent for whatever reason, use what you already have - The Internet! Become a weblebrity. Get a youtube account and start posting videos of yourself singing, dancing, acting, whatever. You never know, you could wind up getting your own TV show - Look at Perez Hilton!
