I found a monologue i would like to do...But is it a published play?

I think its very much me
And i actually feel like i should do this one
But you know the trouble with the Internet nowadays
Dont know whether anything is real or fake

If they don't provide a playwright's name more than likely it is not from a published play.

You can find entire scripts online at this site, pick something from these playwrights.

Does it have to be a published play?

Sometimes some of the best monologues come from regular people writing.

But I read it, and I don't reconize it, but it seems very good!

I would just go for it!

I don't know for sure whether or not it is published but you most definetly need to find out. Would you rather not know and go into the competition and then find out it isn't or take a little time to check it out? I would suggest talking to a drama coach or someone that would know. If not, search it on a respected website like www.brookpub.com.
