I think I need a bit of help?

Question:I use to live in PA where we had two acting schools near by. When I was in 2-6th grade I starred in a few plays as head roles. And just as soon I was going to be starting acting schools we had to move to NY. And you guys are probably thinking "theres so many acting schools in NY, why are you complaing?!?" well...I live in upper state NY with abosulutely nothing. I have had somewhat much expericence with acting and I'm starting to make a resume as time goes by.

I'm now in 8th grade and every year I try out for a main role for our schools musical, I don't get a part at all. I have been told numerous times that I'm a good singer and actress. And our school picks all the junkie and older people. Half of our middle school doesn't get a part. So I can't get any experience at all!

This really ticks me off because I have a passion for acting and it's hard to keep going on with it when you don't have it around you anymore.

What should I do? Finish my resume and see what happens?

If you really like acting and want to do it, nothing can stop you from that. Forget about the school play, try something outside of you school. Try theatre and do one thing make videos and upload them to sites like www.thinkgottalent.com to make a portfolio. When you visit the agencies take it with you and show them.
