Question:heyyyy i want to no if u can find a website that has the original Wizard of Oz!bc i heard there is a guy on there in the backround that hangs his self !and they banned it from TV and they dont sell it anymore!can u help me find a website that i can watch the balck and white version frum the 1930's?thanks hannah!

It's actually in the 1939 color version, not the black and white silent version that was released in the earlier part of the 1900's. It's an urban legend. Don't waste your time. Upon not so close examination it is incredibly obvious that the figure that appears to be "hanging" itself is actually just a large bird. It's visible I believe towards the end of the Tin Man's first scene.

It isn't true. Don't believe everything you read.

That's just an urban legend. Some old tabloid ran a false story that on of the actors playing a Munchkinlander hung himself in the background of the Yellow Brick Road scene but it never really happened!
