I play guitar. I have an electric Les Paul, pretty hot, and the reason why I wanted to play it was because my older sister played piano and I used to too until I relized that piano WAS NOT for me. Not enough fun, specially when ur teacher only teached classical. Then I found my dad's old acustic Martin, guitar. I started to play and fell in love.

I started blowing sax but then I saw kids playing drums and I had to do that. I had a big passion for it when I was just 9. I didn't get a lot of instuction because I switched instruments, but I couldn't go back to sax. I got into a drum and bugle corps. but couldn't keep the meter which also became a problem in rock bands and small piano and bass trios playing gigs at weddings. I lost interest around 30 but had a good time and was in a lot of bands.

My life has been centered around music... piano, voice, flute, piccolo, clarinet, trombone, sax, Fr. horn, tuba, oboe, violin, hammer dulcimer, lap dulcimer, autoharp, timpani...and on and on.... I have quite a collection of flutes from foreign countres.....
INstrument choice: Some students choose an instrument because their parent or older sibling played it. Some chose a certain instrument because it is a solo instrument (attention)... Others pick an instrument because not many people play it (introverts who are content to be alone, secure)... and so on....
