OK....that's a really interesting character, i have to admit...
what you need to do is kinda research bit on the characteristics of a snake:

For example they smell with their tongue so they are constantly flicking it out to smell things.

Another thing is when you talk, stressssssssss the sssss...... You kinda want to have this soft (not so soft that the audience can't hear you) slow voice..... It's hypnotic..... like you see with the snake charmer...

Yet another thing is that they are very fluid and graceful with their movement, they're very flexible... They move with a certain finesse that is all their own.

Finally when you are playing the snake, i found that snakes are actually very seductive.... They have this certain danger that makes them very sexy and appealing..... And EYE CONTACT WITH THE PERSON... You are a predator now... Some snakes trap their prey by staring at it.... Very hypnotic as I've said before....

Good Luck!

I would say, sway a lot, or undulate, like with the hips upwards. Talk with emphasis on the sibilant sounds...sort of hissy and, well, slithery, and I would think a snake would talk quietly. Slow, gliding movements, elegant and deliberate. Snakes have heat-receptors in their faces, so maybe turning your face towards anyone who is playing something mammalian as if you're sensing them by body-heat.

I hope this helps.
