Some of his settings were factual, some fictional. I don't remember ever reading one that was set in Iceland or any African country for that matter. Most of his stuff was either around the Mediterranean Sea or in non-specific areas in Europe.

I guess he didnt use the States as his settings .. did he?

He did not use women. The parts of women were actually played by men.

I don't think he ever set a play in London.
