Tick Tick Boom? Anyone ever saw this play?

Question:I'm going to see this play tomorrow and later i have to write an essay review about it but i dont know what its about. It went to the main page but the information was a bit vague and didnt make sense explaining the tick tick boom. any one saw it and can give me something about the characters just to introduce me to its plot or so? But dont ruin the ending please.

I went to college with Jon Larson (Adelphi University). We were in the theatre program together.

"Tick Tick Boom" is a much, much better musical than "Rent". It's autobiographical and based on his anxiety about where he was at that moment in his life when he was turning 30.

Sadly, he never lived to see the humongous success he yearned for.

Tick tick...boom is just what it is; that ticking inside where you're about to explode because of the frustrations you have. Where are you in this moment of time....what do you want to do with your life.......is it turning out that way you had hoped.....

I don't know how old you are, but at some point you're going to question your very existence and look for some kind of reason for being here.
