Question:Okay, well my high school is doing a production no The Sound of Music, and I'm one of the children. Problem is I can't stop laughing during practice. If this happens in the classroom, where there's but one girl as the audience, I don't even want to think about what will on stage. Do you have any tips to halt the giggling? (And I've tried the 'dead puppy' trick but that doesn't seem to help at all)

i used to have the exact same problem. its very hard. try looking up and breathing deeply. think about a person you hate. and also i know this sounds violent,. but if you pinch the hell out of yourself while on stage youll be thinking about the pain so much you wont be laughing, no it sounds sick. but it works. good luck babe

oh and to the person above me. what the hell are you talking about

well i know the *dead puppy *trick doesnt work.what song are you singing (16 going on seven teen?).become one with your character

Biting your bottom lip sometimes helps;

Just stay calm and act like you are all alone and move alot so that they think you are comftorbale on stage.

GROW UP!!!!
