Anyone know anything about Thoroughly Modern Millie or Urinetown???

Question:I was cast as a character named Little Sally in Urinetown (strange title I know) . Unfortunately I was also cast as Muzzy van Hossmere in Thoroughly Modern Mille at another theatre. I know a little about Muzzy but I know nothing about Little Sally. What is Little Sally like?? Which part is better?? Which would you do?? Range of each character (soprano, mezzo, or alto). Your opinions mean a lot! Thanx!!

Personally, I prefer Little Sally over Muzzy. I like Muzzy and she gets to sing 2 kind of torch songs in TMM, but if you don't get to be in the ensemble dance numbers as well then you're not in tons of the show. Little Sally plays the part of a co-narrator in Urinetown and while she doesn't have a song of her own, she has solos in quite a few songs, gets to be in the big dance numbers and has a lot of dialogue. Her character is a little girl, but is usually played by an adult in kind of a "knowing' way.
I really like TMM, but LOVE Urinetown - check out the soundtracks for help in your decision. You may be able to check them out at the library. Also, just go on you tube to look up clips from both shows. Both shows performed at the Tony's and have those clips up and both are great!!

Little Sally is a little girl character who I have always been a little annoyed with. I LOVE TMM its my favorite musical and Muzzy van Hossmere is a very good role with two very fun songs. Thats my opinion though so you just definitly see both of the plays before you make your decision.
