Question:I am a 12 year old actor hopeful that practices acting in my room. Whenever i pick a crying scene out of a movie, I play the part out pretty good. But the thing is, whenever i get tears out, the leak out of the corner of my eye thats closest to my nose. In the movies, it always comes out in the middle of their eye. Question for actors: Can you control where your tears come out from?

yes and no. it can vary depending on facial structur and angles of your eyes. if it is something that you can fix easily you might just try tilting your head. your tearducts areon the sides but if your hea is angled correctly it will come to the center of your eyelid before it runs

the first guy got it right, about the eye shape & such. plus, they may get help from eye drops. but don't expect to use that until waayy later, because you won't have to get tears in plays...no one will be able to see them!:p
