Position:Home>Theater & Acting> Any advice on studying acting for a year in London?

Question:I'm 28 and would love to act in film and some theatre. I have some experience but feel I could most definitely do with serious training to get me to a professional level and be more credibile. I'm interested in acting as an art form and working with expression.
There are so many courses on offer and hugely differing fees. Which are most credible? I'm interested in the LSDA 1 year advanced course, anyone who has done it? How much does it cost?
What is typically expected at these types of auditions?

Anyone in the know, have any good suggestions about the best courses in general and for working afterwards and fees, further education loans etc.?

I am literally just starting my research, so thank you all in advance. I appreciate your time and help.

Have a look at the National Council for Drama Training website. They have advice too for potential students.
Look in the Students section. Hopefully they will have the information you need.
