I would have to say that the Broadway show that entertained me the most would have to be 'Legally Blonde: The Musical'. The songs are just so catchy and you leave with a huge grin on your face. However, i also love Spamalot and Les Miserables.
Unfortunately I found 'The Sound of Music' really disappointing in the West End.

I love Broadway musicals, though I can't pick just one as my favorite. My top 4 would have to be:
1) Wicked
2) Miss Saigon
3) Phantom of the Opera
4) Les Miserables

I love them and my favorites are: Hairspray, Chicago and Wicked
