Audition for Honk Jr.!?

Question:I'm auditioning for Honk Jr. does anyone have and words of adivce. I'm hoping for the role of Ida or Penny. Anyone know anything about those characters. Ex. Songs they sing. Involvement in the production, number of lines?

Okay, well Ida is a really big role, and Penny isn't that huge.

Ida has a few solos (she's a strong soprano), including "Every Tear a Mother Cries", "Hold Your Head Up High", "The Joy of Motherhood"...as you can probably tell,s he's very motherly! It's a really great role.

Penny has no solos. She sings with the chorus, of course, and is the swan who falls for Ugly. It's a very sweet role.

For this specific show, I have only one word for you: CHARACTER! Some roles in this play may not seem too good, but if you give them character, they can be really fun!
