Ideas for a script?

Question:Anyone have any good idears for a student play? I have to write a script for a friend and i need some iders.( I have a few but wonderd if anyone can give me some insperation)

Hmm, there are so many things to write a script about. I would take something from your own life, or find a unique character to center it around. In high school, any realistic script about relationships, drugs, peer pressure are going to catch on quick. Alot of those themes work well in college too. There's always the old standby of taking any basic Shakespeare plot and making it your own. Double lives are fun, I like those. Taking a new look at an old story. The sky is the limit.

why don't you find a cure for the common cold? it would be as easy. All this script writing that goes on with no training in how to write scripts is one of my pet peeves
