Help with beoming an actress!!!?

Question:I live in a small town and i really want to be something big. Not cause of the fame but cuz i love to act. I at least wnt to be in a commericial. But i dont kno where to start. My mom is very protective and we both dont want to give out to much info or have it be a scam. If you know where to audition in new england for and extra in something or a commercial. PLEASE HELP. i kno a ton of people wnt to do this to, but i really just want to act and i am different from most people.

Mad props! Small towns rock!! haha. But u gotta start from the beginning. I totally hope u make it big!!! However, i realy dont know wat to start out with other than commercials....

Every one thinks they are different, and they are all the same. However, if you do a web search of talent agents in the nearest big town, you may find out how to submit for representation. However, you have the wrong idea about commercials, they are the top of the line jobs for actors, not the lowest form. Avoid JR Powers or John Casablancas, two well known scams.

try out for auditions so you can get known by a few agencies. go to a big city and maybe try out a few times.this is your best way to become known.
