Depends on your production values anywhere from 500,000 to several million. I wish I were kidding. But when you figure everyone will be paid equity rate, advertising, theatre rental, lighting, performers, technicians, they last play I produced was $25,000 and that was a 150 seater theatre inNorthern california with major scrimping.

The most I ever spent producing musicals at the university where I taught was a total budget of $5000 for a show that turned out to be a flop.
