Improvise is the best way to go! i do it all the time! In case you don't know what it is, its a certain location with a character, and you have to come up with a scene on the spot. for example, you take a peice of paper and write down 10 locations and 10 characters... than you draw a name and location from the hat and you do a play from it!!! its fun! so gather up like 2 or ur friends and do it!!! its alot more fun than it sounds, it also helps you become aware or bad (( or good )) habits that you may have developed. it can also bring you to use some skills that u never even knew you had!!!

Good luck!!!

Chewy, Becca, Rebecca, Chewbackah whatever u wanna call me!!!

lol Good luck!!

PS: about the stage fright thing, preform in front of a small audience at first (( 1 - 4 ppl ) and allow it to grow gradually, eventually, youll be able to preform in front of hundreds and you never know, you might make it to the big screen ((thousands?))

just be well prepared. very very well prepared, when you know you can do it, there will be no fright.

Well if you have stage fright then you shouldn't join it. Some people just aren't afraid so thats why they join. if you really want to join it then face your fears. Some tips are to practice with your friends, then ur parents and so on. Dont make it seem that everyone is loooking at you. make it fun and joyful. dont be shy stand up there and be you.!!!!!! good luck<3

My son acts out the TV shows he watches. Constantly. He does a really good job at it too. If it's a show he has seen before, he knows the lines and can say it with the actors. He isn't embarrassed about doing it and actually asks us to watch him. He's nine by the way. I call him my drama king. He's dramatic about everything.

you won't crack up in a scene if you are really serious about what you are doing!

the MOST improtant thing...WAY more important than anything anyone else has said on this page is FOCUS!! you could improvise or be well prepared but none of that matters if you aren't concentrated at the task at hand (the thnig your "character" is trying to do)...once you focus you'll be able to block out everything and not "crack up" or break character b/c you'll be taking yourself and your acting seriously ;)
