He is the "Thane of Glamis."

He is a brave and noble soldier. At the beginning of the play he is not the king yet. Later in the play he becomes the "Thane of Cawdor," then later King of Scotland.

As the "Scottish" guy because you should never say his name in a theatre.

he is a scottish king in the middle of a war. There is a viking invasion happening, so he's already stressed out enough as it is.
