You won't be ready to be "discovered" until you get both of these:

1) Training
2) Experience

Fortunately, there are a lot of opportunities for both in Dallas. But beware, there are a lot of opportunities for people to take your money in exchange of false promises of fame and success.

Your size can work in your favor. You might have the look of a 9-year-old, but you have the maturity and intelligence of a 13-year-old (we hope). Also, in five years, when you turn 18, as an adult it will be easier for producers to hire you than a 15-year-old child actor. For these reasons, smaller teens often have more opportunities than teens of "normal" size.

And size doesn't keep some actors from reaching great heights. Broadway Tony award winner and TV and film star Kristin Chenoweth is "only" 4'11" tall.
