Question:I am 15 years old, and my dream is to be an actress. I know that I can make it in show business, I just need to get a push in the right direction. I really want to make my dream come true, so that I can help the world become a better place. After all, many actors/actresses do great things for society. I want to do great things. I just don't know how I can get my career started. How can I get Disney or other corporations to notice me? Suggestions are much appreciated! Thank you! :)

Take drama at school if you aren't already doing that. Get involved in community theater.
Be in the school choir if possible (the more experience you have in performing arts, the more marketable you will be).
Find a local casting agency. They aren't agents who charge you a percentage. They work for the producers, who pay their salary.
A casting agent will usually charge around $20 a year for registration. They require a current head-shot and resume on file to show their clients. A good casting agent will offer training throughout the year at low cost. They NEVER charge you for the opportunity to audition.
Go to your local TV affiliate and find out if they have any commercials needing 15 year-olds. Leave the commercial producer your resume / head-shot.
Once you have a few jobs on your resume and a growing portfolio, find an agent. Agents will charge you a percentage of every job they get you. The amount is small and they usually send you to a lot of auditions because that's how they get paid - when you get paid.
Make sure your parents research every agency / agent / producer you work with. They will be your partners and best defense against bad situations. I suggest checking sex offender web sites. Predators hang out in the entertainment industry, looking for victims willing to trade sex for opportunities in movies and TV. It's sick but it's reality.

You need to hire an agent to represent you on casting calls. You also need to make a profile of yourself and the experience you have, photo's included. And go to as many legitimate casting calls as you can. Or you can contact the Disney Channel.

a real actor isnt born over night there is such a thing as natural talent but you have to attend acting school to be a good actor

i have no interest in becoming famous but I took a trip to Hollywood to get into directing... there were a lot of people there trying to get discovered. I even met a girl about my age (16) at a store who chatted with me about how she had done some commercial modeling and a few of her friends had been on 'Unfabulous'... if you're serious then you should take a long trip to Los Angeles and get contacts and such and really put yourself out there

How exactly do you make the world a better place by being on the Disney channel?

Well you can go to LA after the writer's strike is over. Right now they aren't doing anything.
