Position:Home>Theater & Acting> Where can I get information about Disney Channel Auditions?

Question:For HSM3, and Hannah Montana Movie.......

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: For HSM3, and Hannah Montana Movie.......

I have worked in the entertainment industry for over 20 years and have accumulated a wealth of knowledge. When I started out, I didn't have much information and spent countless weeks, months and even years learning the ropes by trial and error. I know how valuable information and resources are to people who are starting out from scratch. So I recently decided to use some of my spare time to create a blog with Disney Channel casting notices, audition information, information on getting an agent, demo-reels, resumes, etc. There are far too many scam artists out there who take advantage of those actors who are trying to make their dreams come true. The information and casting notices I provide are totally free and legitimate. Hopefully I can save some people a few bucks and a lot of footwork.

(I have also created a sister-site Hannah Montana Auditions, and a general Acting Auditions site)

Sincerely,

Alan Baltes

From the publications of your actors' union, or your agent.

You aren't a union member and you don't have an agent? Then forget about it, they don't hire amateurs.

If you want to become a professional, then you need to work your way into the career, first through dozens of amateur productions in community theatre groups (onstage AND backstage), then through a good bachelor-of-fine-arts program at a university, and then through additional professional training and enough audition rejections to break your heart twelve times over.

Accomplish those goals and you may eventually win a role in a Disney production--tho' any work at all will be fine, since paying the bills is the important thing.

If you have no interest in acting in anything other than HSM3, Hannah Montana, etc., then you will not make it as a professional actor; go with your second choice of career.

there you have been given the info, but it will do you no good unless you have and agent and live near enought to the auditions to attend. So what did you think, that they want inexperienced wannabes from anywhere? Not on your life
