Ok so Im 13, and I kinna want to get into acting?

Question:So Im 13, and I live in a really small town at the very bottom of Canada, so close that ( if the border people let me) I could basicaly walk from my house into Oroville WA. in 30 minutes.
I used to live in a big city last year and wanted to get into acting, but my schedule was just too busy. Now I have time, but the only acting thing they is this acting group that comes once a year for only one week, and I missed it. the nearest city to where I am is Pentiction, and its an hour and a half to go 1 way without any traffic. If you could help me find any place so I can start, that would be awesome. It doesnt matter if its in the U.S., as long as its not too far into Washington, or past Kelowna. I kinna want to do maybe plays, or other things like that. anything u can find would be really helpful!!

i live in summer land, a fifteen minute from penticton. there's allot of acting around here. Theres the school play, which my brother is in....and theres this other acting thing, which is might have been what you were talking about. and theres just the regular classes. email me if you'd like more infomation.

First step: change your objective from "kinna want to" to "want to."

Ok. First thing is, your really have to want to do it. Like really want to. Acting is a lot of work. I would recommend maybe finding an acting class for beginners. It would really help.
When you go out for your first audition, DO NOT have high hopes. You won't get a lead your first try. You will probably get ensemble. Ensemble isn't bad. A show could not run without an ensemble! But getting a lead takes alot of work. You have to have experience. Getting started isn't easy, but definetly worth it if you stay with it. You have to be willing to give all your time into it. Cuz, a show will become your life, no matter how big or small your part it. You have to work hard!
Even though it is hard at times, acting is amazing! I am 14 and I love it so much. I have made so many friends and have had so many great experiences. Acting has changed my life. It's so much fun. If you want to try it, go for it! I doubt that you will regret it!
