One where the issue of race religion and social segregation are all brought to a head. I'm writting a play the shows such but its not a musical...I can't write music.

Anything that has some decent songs in it.
Songwriting now is terrible.

Man do a musical based on any Cannibal Corpse song!!
That would be sweet blood and guts everywhere!!

I'd like a musical where a whole bunch of fairy tales slam into each other's stories and change the outcome of them. Though it would be difficult for me to write such a musical with music that fits. Maybe you could write it for me! :P (Since I can't)

A ROMEO AND JULIET TWIST OR CINDERELLA TWIST OR ONE ABOUT DRAMA AND ROMANCE

there are so many musicals out there it's very hard to pick a story that hasn't been told already.

if you do get an idea, let me know if you're in need of a good lyricist.

My friends and I have been joking about putting together a Bon Jovi musical similar to "We Will Rock You" or "Movin Out". We know a few of the songs we want to use but we can't think of a good storyline.

well some with mysteries r fun and suspenesful. but i really like those musicals that r like a prequel, or that tell u the ral story/tell u more about the charaters. like wicked. but hairspray, legally blonde, grease, r some other really amazing musicals. well i like a lot of the singing, dancing, ya know fun, crazy upbeat songs, but there r always those heartbreaker/very, very sad songs in musicals that r also really good songs. like comedy musicals would also be really cool.or like where u could have like this really famous person, but isnt happy with anything, so then they quit the entertainment bussines, then they go undercover into the real world, then somehow learn a very important lesson that u always have 2 b urself and thats y the were so unhappy or watever. but yeah. also musicals with like those hidden morals r good too.

Catchy tunes are a definite must. I personally loved Les Miserables so I guess anything with an intriguing storyline, maybe with some drama and suspense. Romance is almost inevitable. As long as it's not disgustingly pathetic like High School Musical.

hhhhmmmm... i'm listening to little shop of horrors right now. i think we need more quirky musicals, kind of like that and avenue q. funny and just a little strange... personally, theres enough drama on broadway right now, and theres more than enough stuff resembling that disney crap. just something orginal and... differnet. good luck in your writing!
