You can if u think u can

Whether you do nude scenes or not, your chances are slim. Consider how many people try to be an actor/actress, and how many actually get to make a living doing it. I would bet it is maybe 1 out of 100, if not 1 in 1000. I think it is great that you are pursuing your dream, but just realize you are facing an uphill battle, nudity or not.

There are different views on what people view as "successful" or not. Worldwide performers are very rare and are limited to big screen movie actors. Why not start slow? Go to acting school, do regional theatre and work your way up. Also, you can always reject a job offer that has nudity in it and the majority of plays/movies do not. BUT, you're right, it would be easier to be in a porno (if you consider those actors).

I can't say how many chances you'll have of becoming a famous actress -- there are too many different factors that affect that. That depends on your talent, your training, and sometimes just on luck.

But I CAN say that yes, it is very possible to become an actress without doing anything that involves nudity. I know that the stereotype is that young actresses trying to get into movies are encouraged to do nude scenes, but the reality is that even if someone does try to make you do a nude scene and you don't want to, that you will still have other opportunities. Especially if you get into theater -- there are SCORES of plays where there is no nudity at all. In fact, in some places a theater isn't ALLOWED to have any visible nudity onstage, so playwrights often tend to avoid having nude scenes in their plays. Or theater companies just don't do plays that have any nude scenes (Shakespeare plays don't have any nudity at all!)

Whether you will do any nude scenes or not is a very personal decision for every actor, but if you decide you're not comfortable, that will not seriously affect your chances at success. You may find some people will tell you different, but the kind of work they're doing may just not be the kind of work you want to do anyway.

Good luck.

first learn how to spell.
And I think you're overly worried. You don't have to be a stripper to be an actress.
