J.M. Barrie is one of my absolute favorite authors. He is the author of Peter Pan and The Little Minister among many, many others. I own nearly his entire body of work, whether antique or re-printed. There is so much to say about him I do not know where to begin.

The definitive book on Barrie is "J.M. Barrie and the Lost Boys" by Andrew Birkin. I'd start there, if not with Wikipedia or something like that.

The newest book on Barrie is called "Hide-and-Seek With Angels" by Lisa Chaney.

If you have a good book store like Borders or Barnes & Noble and both which are large and well-stocked, both should be available. If not, Amazon.com or eBay may accommodate you.

Also, you may watch Finding Neverland. Not all in the film is historically accurate, but much of it is. I would not base your report off of the film, in other words, but it really is a good representation of parts of his life, especially considering his writing Peter Pan and his relationship with the Llewelyn-Davies family.

Andrew Birkin also made a 4-hour miniseries of the same title of his novel which is very good. It has just been released in NTSC format on DVD and is thorough and accurate.

If you need any more information at all, do not hesitate to contact me via Yahoo messenger or email here or the other email listed on my page. I also have AOL instant messenger if you'd like to talk to me there. Hope I can help.
