I have found that the best way for me to remember things is to break it up into sections. Read the 1st line about 3 times looking at the paper, then recite it 3 times without. Then look at the paper and read the second line once with the paper and go back to reciting the 1st line without the paper, read the second line again with the paper and back to the first without and read the second without. Keep adding on. I know that it sounds like a lot, but it works. Also, if you develop a reading pattern when you read it, it helps. I still to this day remember the Shakespeare monologue that I had to do when I was in the 9th grade, 13 years ago. I had memorized it a little like a song and it's stuck with me all of these years. Good luck!

Great Job! Report It

  • Practice your script 7 times.
That sounds weird but when you repeat something 7 times, your brain memorizes it.

don't waste your time online and start memorizing.

    memorize sooner.

when i have to memorize something in ashort time i take it little by little,so take a few sentences to memorize at a time and keep repeating them

    good luck

write it down and repeat it.
you really shouldn't be on yahoo asking for help though lol.

Apart from a time machine, try tape recording it and playing the tape over and over and over while you do whatever, play it while you are sleeping when your brain is most receptive.
