Some actors would die to have that part! he might just surprise you and get that part and I hope he does, meanwhile it is not very kind to joke about someone's acting ability, I am certain there are people who make fun of yours as well. It is hurtful. Remember "the quality of mercy is not strained." It is not kind to encourage someone to make a fool of themselves. ummm it depends on if they trulley want to become an actor, do not crush their dream if they do. but if you think they'll make a fool of themselves you may want to not say anything, just let them try out...
