Position:Home>Theater & Acting> Is it difficult to write a screenplay?

Question:We have an issue to tackle and I think writing a screenplay will get the most attention out of all the options media has to offer.

I have the story and it's all mapped out in my head...just need to get it on paper.

Is it much like making a storyline on Windows Movie Maker? I kind of have an idea how to write a screenplay but I'm in the dark.

Thanks.

I have never heard of Windows Movie Maker, the best software on the market and industry standard for screenwriters is Final Draft.

Provided you have a good plot and decent writing skills the writing part is the easiest.

Getting someone to produce it is the hard part.

But best of luck to you, anything worth doing isn't easy, you just need the drive to match the talent.

I believe that be very difficulty.

it can be easy when your on fire and just have ideas that seem to mesh well, but it gets bad when those 2 words mix together.

WRITERS BLOCK! that could make or break any writer, thus making it much harder to write a screenplay then originally thought.

Whats the story about? im an actor so i could provied insight from an actors perspective

Well get a book on the subject and learn how. Of course it is difficult. It takes talent and effort. Good luck.
