Help me with acting carreer?

Question:Im 14 years old, Im hispanic, I weight 115 punds, I love to act but I never acted in plays, and i really want to act for disneychannel and have alot of fun with friends that work there too! please help me!

Here is the process in a nut shell;

1) Learn the craft = ongoing study and training.

2) Get experience...do anything and everything that will involve you in the craft, even if it's for free at first!

3) Get the tools and equipment of the trade (Read "An actor's field guide" for a list of what this means) = Head shot, resume, 8x10's, cover letters, etc.

4) Get a reel put together.

5) Seek out work on your own.

5) Then AND ONLY THEN consider appraoching agents which
ARE ONLY FRANCHISED!!!

Like I said, this is the bare bones of what you need to do to get started.... If you really want it and not looking for a quick fix/shortcut, then you'll get busy and put this info to work!

You need an agent, and without experience unless your the right "type" they happen to be looking for at the time, you wont get one

If all you want is to be famous, on T.V. , and friends with celebrities, then you might as well give up. There are hundreds of others out there who have more experience and talent then you and who want it more then you. You wont just magically get to act on disney channel. It takes hard work and makes you face a lot of rejection.

So, get some experience. Start acting at a local theater. If you find that you really LOVE acting (and not just the fame), and you want to pursue it, then get an agent and start auditioning.

Find a good acting school then a great agent and your all set!
