Position:Home>Theater & Acting> How do I get a acting agent?

Question:Okay well a good way to start is to check your yellow pages. Other then that go on your local performance union site (ACTRA in canada, SAG in U.S.) from there you should be able to find a proper agent in your area.
and remember, NEVER take no for an answer :)

There are talent agents and managers. I assume you don't know the difference. Both can help you get acting work. Most want to see you in a movie, tv show, or stage production first. Some will offer or attend showcase classes that give you a chance to show your performance skills in sample scenes with other actors in the class. A few take submissions of photos and resumes and then call you in for an interview and monologue. Now and then, someone already represented by the agent will agree to see a friend or family member to show good faith to their existing client.

i dunno but tell me when u have a answer :)
